Zinc-net meeting

Our next meeting is going to be held on the 3rd of November in London, UK. We expect researchers from over 25 countries.

The conference venue is St Giles Church, Barbican in the heart of London (http://www.stgilesnewsite.co.uk/history/ )St Giles Church. St Giles church is one of the few remaining medieval churches in the City of London with an amazing history. To whet your appetite here is a short list of people who attended this church: Lancelot Andrewes (1555-1626): an eminent scholar; John Bunyan (1628-1688): the famous Christian writer and preacher; Oliver Cromwell (1599-1658): the military and political leader; Daniel Defoe (1660-1731): the author of Robinson Crusoe;  Sir Martin Frobisher (1535 (or 1539) –1594): the explorer who search for the Northwest Passage; Sir Humphrey Gilbert (c1539-1583): an adventurer, explorer, MP, soldier and one of the pioneers of English colonisation; Ben Jonson (1572-1637): the playwright, poet and actor; John Milton (1608-1674): the poet and republican; Sir Thomas More (1478-1535): the author and statesman; Thomas Morley (1557/8-1602): the composer and organist; William Shakespeare (1564-1616): the playwright; John Speed (1552-1629): the historian and map-maker.
